Israeli air strikes killed several senior commanders in Hamas.

  Xinhua News Agency, Gaza, May 12 (Reporter Xiong Sihao) Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed on the 12th that several senior commanders of the Kasang Brigade, an armed faction affiliated to Hamas, died in Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip in the early hours of that morning.

  Hamas said in a statement that the Israeli army launched a fierce air raid on the Gaza strip early that morning, which killed several senior commanders of the Kasang Brigade, including the commander of the Kasang Brigade in Gaza, basem Issa.

  According to Israeli sources, the IDF and the General Administration of National Security jointly carried out targeted clearance operations in Gaza and Khan Younis in the south on the same day, killing the commanders of the Kasang Brigade in Gaza and Khan Younis, as well as 16 senior commanders in charge of network, intelligence, security and rocket engineering.

  From May 10th to 12th, a serious conflict broke out between Israel and Gaza. Armed men in the Gaza fired more than 1,000 rockets at Israel, killing six people and injuring more than 100 others. The Israeli army immediately retaliated and attacked hundreds of targets of armed groups in the Gaza. Ashraf Zidra, spokesman of the health department in the Gaza, said that 65 people were killed and 365 injured by Israeli air strikes from 10th to 12th, including 16 children.

  Since Ramadan, conflicts between Palestine and Israel have continued to occur, especially since last weekend, and tensions have intensified. On May 10th, serious clashes broke out again between Palestinians and Israeli police at the Temple Mount (called "Noble Forbidden Area" by Muslims) in the old city of Jerusalem, and more than 300 people were injured.
