Fraud trick:
First, take the initiative to add friends. After obtaining the victim’s mobile phone number and personal identity information through illegal channels, fraudsters claim to be the leader himself, and guide the victim to add QQ and WeChat by sending short messages, or pretend to be a high imitation account by copying the leader’s WeChat avatar and nickname, or directly use the leader’s photo obtained from Internet search as the avatar to actively add the victim’s WeChat friends.
Second, be caring and attentive to narrow the distance. After adding friends, scammers will talk about work and life with the victims through social tools such as QQ and WeChat, with sincere words and active care, so as to reduce the victim’s vigilance and gain trust.
Third, make a transfer request. After gaining the trust of the victim, the swindler will ask the victim to help transfer and remit money on the grounds of "relatives bidding for the project", "keeping private affairs confidential", "urgent need for turnover", "inconvenient use of his own account" and so on, and demand strict confidentiality.
Fourth, send a fake screenshot of the false transfer to the victim. In order to increase trust, and respond to the question that the victim did not receive the transfer on the grounds of "delay in inter-bank transfer". During the period, words such as "urgent", "as soon as possible", "immediately" and "immediately" were used to create a tense atmosphere and urge the victims to transfer money.

When strangers take the initiative to add WeChat and QQ as "leaders" and ask for transfer and remittance, they must carefully screen and verify the identity of the other party by telephone, and do not easily provide relevant information, click on links or make transfer and remittance.
