Eye in the Sky: The greatest evil in the world is hypocrisy.

Special feature of 1905 film network Blow up the little girl and destroy the leader of the terrorist organization or save the little girl and let the leader of the terrorist organization go. Which one would you choose?

The "tram puzzle" is placed in the background of war. When the screen is full of entanglement and despair, it proves that there is no truth on the battlefield.

The whole process of Eye in the Sky revolves around the issue of whether to throw missiles or not to destroy the leaders of terrorist organizations. In some people’s view, this is a "death" film. How can we succeed in cracking down on terrorist organizations with a "woman’s view"? Others think this film is thought-provoking and shows the despair under the war.

The film begins with an ordinary black family. Father repaired the rainbow hula hoop for the girl, and everything seemed harmonious and beautiful.

But then a shot was pulled, and an armed jeep passed by the girl’s house. Obviously, the city is full of war.

Colonel Catherine (helen mirren) received information, and extremists carried out a large-scale terrorist attack, killing 147 teachers and students of Garissa University, and killing workers serving the British and Kenyan intelligence services.

Colonel Catherine led a British intelligence unit to hunt down a female terrorist for six years. After joining the high-altitude surveillance operation by the US military, she finally found a suspected figure in a secret base.

When the high-altitude reconnaissance personnel used the hummingbird drone for indoor observation, they found that terrorists were plotting suicide bombings with others. In order to prevent further personal injury, Catherine ordered the bombing of the secret base to annihilate the enemy.

Contradictions and conflicts have begun to emerge in the casualty assessment budget. The evaluator predicted that the explosion might cause civilian casualties around. The person in charge said that additional damage should be recalculated, and Catherine knew the seriousness of the consequences of letting the female leader go, so she insisted on bombing immediately. After many negotiations and voting, it was decided to bomb.

After aiming at the target, the driver played by aaron paul found that the little girl who turned the hula hoop appeared next to the secret base. She actually set up a stall to sell cakes, and the original simple transnational arrest became a complicated anti-terrorism task in an instant.

A heated debate unfolded at the round table. On the one hand, Colonel Catherine and General Benson (alan rickman) are the representatives who insist on blowing up the terrorist organization’s dens. On the other side, the prosecutor and his wife are the representatives to protect the little girl from bombing.Madam believes that as a country that pursues "humanitarianism", we can’t carry out bombing even though we know that this bombing will cause the little girl to be seriously injured or die on the spot.

General Benson knew that the girl who had just started a good life might die immediately, but in order to ensure the safety of thousands of children, as a soldier, he had to carry out bombing operations without hesitation.

In fact, each of them hopes that the girl can get out of danger quickly, and even desperate to let the agent go to the booth to buy cakes, and even cause the agent to be almost shot. Isn’t the life of an agent a life?

Director Gavin Hood used subtle group performances to set off contradictions and conflicts. What seems to be behind the contradiction between girls and terrorists is actually people’s profound discussion on how to measure life and choose life. In order to save the girl, the agent risked his life to go to the rescue, but failed to help the girl after all.

Aaron paul’s button to launch missiles has now become a symbol of life. He knows the result after the launch, but he also knows that he is a soldier, and his military orders are like mountains.

    Finally, the missile was launched.

The director didn’t use a huge roar to contrast the scene’s misery, but used a mute effect to deal with it. At the moment of explosion, everyone’s expressions and actions before the debate were described, with tears, helplessness and unbearable feelings. The silence at this moment is a silent catharsis.

The girl fell to the ground, but there were still signs of life.

Just as the death assessor determined that one of the male leaders had died, the director threw another bomb at the audience. Before the female leader died, Catherine decided to carry out a second bombing.

At the end of the film, a middle shot is used to show that the girl is lying motionless in the rescue room, and her parents are crying. Although the ending is clear, we can’t be calm inside.

Is there really a clear division between good and evil? The director told us with a story, no.

General Benson, seemingly ruthless, will show kindness when choosing toys for his daughter; Colonel Catherine will also be unable to hide his grief after hearing the death of the intelligence agent; Extremists will take the girl’s parents to the hospital; Politicians opposed to the bombing are worried that the explosion video will be sent to youtube and cause public outrage.

The director overthrew their personnel design again and again and re-established it again and again. If the girl standing there is the daughter of General Benson, or a beggar with a scarred face and shabby clothes, what will the result be?

Rainbow hula hoop may be a symbol of freedom and peace. But the girl can no longer turn it carefree.

After the mission, General Benson said this to his wife: "I have participated in the aftermath of five suicide bomb attacks. I personally went to the scene and saw the bodies with my own eyes. What you saw today while drinking coffee and eating cookies was cruel. What those people were supposed to do was much more cruel. Never tell a soldier that he didn’t understand the cost of war."

Life is heavier than imagined, and the cruelty of war is far beyond what the screen expresses.

Countries that cause extreme activities or wars in the name of "goodwill" will never understand the meaning of life. The greatest evil in the world is hypocrisy.

The hope of mankind is like an eternal star.

Dark clouds can’t hide its light.

Especially today.

Peace is not an ideal.

A dream

It is the wish of ten thousand people.
